Accesibility

Persons with disabilities who plan to attend and who may need auxiliary aids or services are required to contact Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Travis County at 512-854-9600 ten working days prior to the tour so appropriate arrangements can be made.

Ticketing

Children

Children 12 and under are free.

Advanced Ticket Sales
  • Advanced tickets are $20.
  • Advanced tickets will be sold through May 5.
  • Multiple tickets may be purchased during a single transaction.
  • Your PayPay receipt or ID is your ticket to receive your wristband at the first garden you visit.
  • The purchaser will receive one wristband per ticket purchased.
  • The purchaser may pickup wristband(s) at any garden on the tour.
  • A valid ID is required to receive wristband(s).
  • A wristband will allow the holder to tour any garden.
Day Of Ticket Sales
  • Tickets may be purchased at any garden on the tour the day of the tour (May 11).
  • Tickets purchased the day of the tour are $25.
  • We accept credit or debit card only. No cash please.
  • Multiple tickets may be purchased during a single transaction.
  • The purchaser will receive one wristband per ticket purchased.
  • A wristband will allow the holder to tour any garden on the tour in addition to the garden where the wristband was initially purchased.
Refunds

All sales are final. No refunds will be given.

At The Gardens

Parking

Parking is typically on the street. Please be respectful of garden neighbors.

Questions About the Garden

Master Gardeners and garden docents will be on hand at each garden location to answer questions. Garden owners may be available also. We encourage questions. This is a chance for gardeners to share with other gardeners!

Rest Rooms

No rest rooms will be available.

About the Tour

Inside Austin Gardens Tour (IAGT)

The Inside Austin Gardens Tour (IAGT) originated in 2005 and was held every 18 months until 2020 (COVID). The road back has been long, but we are moving ahead! The theme of IAGT events is “For Gardeners, By Gardeners”. IAGT is an educational event founded and hosted by the Travis County Master Gardener Association and the Travis County AgriLife Extension Service.

Travis County Master Gardener Association (TCMGA)

The Travis County Master Gardener Association is the preeminent gardening organization in Austin. TCMGA is dedicated to educating Austin-area gardeners with research-based, effective, environmentally friendly horticultural practices. The mission of the Travis County Master Gardeners Association is to offer sound, research-based horticultural advice to the public through educational service and volunteer work for the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Master Gardeners receive special training in horticulture, which includes continuing education as well as the initial 50 hours of training. Master Gardeners are trained and certified by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Travis County. More information here.
